VI Annual Meeting of Technology and Knowledge Transfer Networks

The Research Unit on Biomedical Informatics (GRIB) of the IMIM/UPF has recently participated as a member of the Xarxa IT (IT Network) in the VI Annual Meeting of Technology and Knowledge Transfer Networks, organized by the Centre for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM) of Catalan Government on the 24th of May in the World Trade Center of Barcelona. 

In the framework of this annual meeting, the CIDEM and the conseller of Work and Industry Department of the Generalitat of Catalonia have signed an overall agreement of collaboration with the conseller of University, Research and Information Society of the Catalan Government and the rectors of every university integrated in the Xarxa IT. Xarxa IT is composed by technology centres and university groups with high potential for technology transfer to the industry. 

On the other hand, in the VI Annual Meeting of Technology and Knowledge Transfer Networks, the members of this networks have drown up a balance of their results and have defined their future projects in common.

GRIB joined the IT Network of the CIDEM in 2001. Actually, the Xarxa IT is composed by 73 centres of all technology sectors involved in the technology transfer to the industry.
