The 2007 Knowledge Transfer Award has been granted to Dr. Jordi Mestres of the Research Unit on Biomedical Informatics (GRIB) - IMIM/UPF.

This award distinguishes the work of Dr. Mestres and his important contribution to the algorithms development and the research of new tools in pharmaceutical investigation, through the creation of the spin-off "Chemotargets S.L." as well as the signature of several research contracts with national and international companies in the field of the Experimental and Health Sciences.

Dr. Jordi Mestres has received this award during the opening ceremony of the academic course 2007-2008 at the UPF.
